We are getting more and more request for the new Zula frame from the 2010 Morewood line up. We have built ours and have been pleasantly surprised at how well it perfomed... Continue reading →

It’s true! There was a back log of 90 Zula frames for the South African market alone. We managed to get a couple from the first batch and what a beauty it is to have a lightweight super simple curved cross country weapon for Morewood fans. Morewood is here to make a dent in the huge cross country market with both the Zula and Kwela (their hard tail denomination) with a no bullshit approach to what an XC bike should do and do it well. The Zula has faultless racing lines from which ever angle you look at it, the racing lines are amazingly complimented by the graphics and tech specs that most of us are looking for in a 4″ racing weapon.
Available as a frame set only for $2890 including an fsa semi integrated headset valued at $139 you will be hard pressed wanting something more suited to upgrade your old beater.
The Zula has very discreet cable routing, semi integrated headset for an optimal low front end, 73 mm bottom bracket, available in both black or white and in 4 sizes (s/m/l/xl).
The frame with shock and seatclamp weighs 2450 kg.

Enjoy the photos below. If you have any more questions please email us at rouler(@)rouler.com.au or give us a bell.

The Deville is the first fork ever made by BOS for your trail duties.
It was developed in collaboration with Nicolas Vouilloz in order to offer trail riders a product that would meet the true needs of the discipline.
Bos’s mission statement was to come up with the perfect balance (at least close enough) between lightweight, stiffness, efficiency in downhills and the capacity to climb well. A target not easy to reach but after a lot of testing and hard work Bos came up with the Deville fork.

The Deville stands out :

160mm of travel, 34mm staunchions, allowing a solid compromise between a competitive weight with a considerable amount of stiffness. Just under the 2kg mark, Deville is by far the lightest in its category! Goes without saying that it is boasting a 20mm through axle facilitating a quick release system.

The Deville is pushing the barrier:

Running the known Bos damping set up well proven in dh, Deville naturally runs an open bath cartridge adjustable in high and low speed and rebound. All Bos owners will vouch for its optimal operation at all times! But Deville innovates when it comes down to climbing: Whilst the pedalling efficiency system remains top secret, we are able to tell you that the system doesn’t counteract the vital functions of the forks damping.
We will soon unveil the system but expect something more than just a lock out dial!

Deville is of good sort:

You’re entitled to your opinion when it comes down to looks! Bos particularly refined the finish of the fork with lowers that have dramatically evolved since the release of the first prototype in march 2009 during the Taipei show. The Crown will be thiner and the decals are yet to be finalized.

Let us know what you think.

It’s that time of the year when new products start popping online as “top secret” for some post production love. Morewood doesn’t fall short of this tradition! So here is what’s in the works for 2010:

The Kalula: 7″ dh / fr with the makulu design. The bike complete as is in the picture weighs 37lbs apparently! Which is for us “kg” people 16.7 kg (without pedals i believe). Perfect Bos N’dee bike!

Morewood have been working hard on a new marathon bike for this upcoming year. The name has yet to be announced but here are two different set ups and colours. This Year morewood is planning on offering more bikes with build kits! One of those kits will be the new sram XX gruppo which should make things light and very competitive (not cheap though- i know what you’re thinking hehe).

Last but not least of the Morewood’s creation is a cross country hardtail weapon with the similar tubing as their new marathon bike. Again the name as yet to be announced for that one. This particular build is said to be tickling the 10kg mark!

Stay tuned for the latest releases and news from the Safa’s as more exciting stuff is brewing!

Nicho

The N’dee is the ideal fork for younger, lighter (including women) racers out there who are committed to racing!
